EMFields was established in 2006. We are not aligned with or supported by any other organisation; we aim to provide an unbiased view of what the science says about human exposure to electromagnetic fields. That may differ from a lot of what can be found on the internet.
Our funding comes from research contracts for organisations such as UK Dept of Health, HSE, Home Office, European Commission, and from advice, consultancy and measurement services for clients.
We are happy to talk to anyone but we don't usually undertake work for the public.
EMField's Director is Dr
Philip Chadwick, CPhys MInst P. He has a PhD in the interaction of
electromagnetic fields with people and over 30 years' experience as
a reseacher and public health specialist. He is Past President of
the Bioelectromagnetics Society and chaired the European Standards
Committee on Electromagnetic Fields in the Human Environment for 15
years, as well as being Chair or member of numerous other
scientific and standard groups.
